I'm a 5’4” firecracker. I'm irreverent, bold, gutsy, and very blunt with a dark sense of humor. I look like an ingénue but then I open my mouth (sorry mom). I enjoy laughing at inappropriate things, at inappropriate times. I love making people laugh and bring levity anywhere I go. I don't taking myself too seriously and I find joy in the thrill of a good challenge. ​ I have the makings of a scream queen, and I'm really looking forward to being the first Latina 007. ​

 

I grew up in a small town in the middle of the Colombian Caribbean surrounded by mountains, the ocean and magical realism. I left these surreal landscapes and immigrated time and time again. To the bustling streets of Bogotá, then to a small town in Southern Georgia where I learned jazz, then to New York City where I found joy in being lost, and then to Dallas where I've learned to love mountainless skies.

All of it brought me to this point where my artistry continues to expand every day in more unexpected ways.

 

 My life has always had more meaning when I'm able to instigate someone's imagination to see more of the beauty we miss on our everyday lives.

I'm infinitely curious about the world we live in, and if I wasn't an artist, I'd be a travel journalist like my childhood hero, Anthony Bourdain... maybe I still will. I love whales, arepas, buñuelos and fried plantains.

 

Above all, my greatest honor, and greatest pride, is to be my mother's daughter.
